Then Mark comes around and asks me if I’m doing anything. I question why, but go along. We head down to the second floor to grab a box from Jeremy’s room. The Settlers of Catan. I always wanted to learn how to play the game, but never had the chance, until now.

We venture back up to the fifth floor and set up the game. Itaru gives me a quick lesson on how to play and we begin. Other people from the floor watch us for a bit and Kristina even asks if there were animals other than sheep. We didn’t hear her and continue playing. Jeremy, Mark, and I plot how to defeat Itaru who takes a quick lead but who ultimately ends up winning the game. I enjoyed playing.

Know what I took from this? Do Not trust random new people who will use you to try and win the game.
