I wake up at 12:40 and realize, I need to get dressed and get down to the lobby. I hurry to brush my teeth and change. Oh no, it’s raining outside, I need an umbrella. I should probably get shorts. A drink would be good to bring. I need a bag to hold all this. I scramble to gather everything I need; I only forget one important thing: my camera.
At 1:00 we all met in the Burton-Conner lobby. All of us except for maybe two are freshmen. We walk all the way to the Kendall T stop and Itaru is surprised. “Never have I been in a group larger than like three where everyone had a CharlieCard.” All of us climb on the Red Line and change at Park St. to change to the Orange Line where we get off at the Wellington stop so Itaru can call the people to ask for a shuttle. We wait there for probably a good 20 minutes before Itaru calls again only to find out we missed the van. We wait another few minutes and a green minivan pulls up. We clamber into the van.
